1. What are the rental requirements?
All
drivers must present a valid driver's license, have a safe
driving record, and may be subject to a Department of Motor
Vehicle check. Full coverage insurance is required on all
our vehicles and will be verified prior to rental.
2. How old do I have to be to rent a vehicle?
You
need to be at least 16 years of age in order to rent most
of our vehicles. Some vehicles have age restrictions of
23, 25, and 30 years of age.
3. What do I need to bring with me?
At
the time of rental, you need a valid driver's license, credit
card in the renter's name if using credit card, and current
proof of insurance.
4. How do I make a reservation?
You
can supply us with all the necessary information over the
phone or online. We will charge your credit card the full
rental amount when you place the reservation and verify
insurance coverage for your rental.
5. Is there a security deposit?
Yes.
You may use cash, debit card (with credit card logo), VISA,
Master Card, AMEX, or Discover. A credit card authorization
approval will be requested at the time of pick up of the
rental to be used as a deposit. This is only an authorization,
and not a charge. The authorization amounts range from $1,000-$10,000
depending on the type of vehicle.
6. Do you offer Private Drivers or a Chauffer?
Yes,
we can arrange a private driver or chauffer for an additional
cost. Please contact us for more information.
7. What if I need to cancel my reservation?
The
rental fee would be charged at the time of reservation and
is non-refundable, but if plans change, the rental fee can
be applied toward a future reservation.
8. Are additional drivers permitted?
Yes,
as long as they meet the same requirements as the primary
renter. There is no charge for additional drivers.
9. Do you offer airport shuttle service?
Yes,
we can arrange shuttle service from Houston Hobby or Bush
Intercontinental Airport.
10. Can you deliver the vehicle to me?
Yes,
we can deliver the vehicle anywhere in the Houston area
for your convenience. However, if the delivery is outside
a five mile radius from our office, there is a delivery
charge.
11. Are the cars allowed out of state?
We
do allow our vehicles to be driven anywhere in the United
States. However, certain restrictions apply. Please notify
us if you plan on driving the vehicle outside of Texas.
Customers must have written authorization from GQ Exotics
and/or our partner's.
12. Is smoking permitted in the vehicles?
No.
We do not allow smoking in our vehicles. A cleaning charge
of $250 may apply if this policy is violated.
13. Is off-roading permitted?
No.
No matter which vehicle is rented, all renters must agree
that they will not use the vehicle for off-roading, be involved
in any illegal exhibitions of speed or drive it on a racetrack.
14. What is the fuel policy?
All
vehicles need to be returned with the same amount of fuel
as they were when picked up. Otherwise, a fuel charge of
$4.99 per gallon will be applied.
15. What should I do if I get into an accident?
Seek
medical attention first. For insurance purposes and your
own protection, you must file a police report. Lastly, contact
us promptly so we can advise you on what to do next.
16. What should I do if my vehicle breaks down?
It
is highly unlikely since most of our vehicles are late models
and stringently maintained. However, if a breakdown does
occur, immediately call our office. Do not do any repairs
to the vehicle without authorization from us.
17. What forms of payment do you accept?
GQ
Exotics accepts the following methods of payment: Cash,
Debit Card (with credit card logo), VISA, Master Card,
AMEX, & Discover.
